we disparately are turned against our allies.
Tucker Carlson is your ally?

Comrade, I’m team red, what are you talking about?

Well I’m convinced.

As a Titan Fall 2 fan, I had a bit of interest just based on it having ex-respawn folks. It sounds like the devs did have love for what they were doing, and went in with the intention of piecing the best of various shooter genres. Shame that it turned out the way it did.
I’m guessing they have something that tracks your upvotes and downvotes for each user, and that the person they are replying to has a high count of upvotes.

Since his campaign in 2020, Joe Biden repeatedly promised that his administration would not interfere with DOJ investigations — a sharp contrast to the politicization of the department seen in previous administrations.
That promise meant that Attorney General Merrick Garland had full autonomy over decisions involving sensitive cases, including Epstein’s. The DOJ determined that most Epstein files could not be disclosed under current law, citing the ongoing need to protect uncharged individuals, witnesses, and victims.
The White House therefore did not intervene or direct any release, leaving the decision entirely within the DOJ’s jurisdiction.
The fact that democrats fail to see this as a fault is why they are so unlikable.

Examples? This article describes “a 60-second interactive world”. How can this even compete with trash tier roblox games?
But only resist if it’s safe to do so.
It turns out the requirements for using your second amendment to protect your home from an ICE raid also very quickly enables suicide.
You can still push for folks to learn to use a gun and train with others to feel comfortable with it, while still not believe that people with suicidal tendencies should have an answer to the question of how they would kill themselves 1 minute away.
When they stop supporting fascism.

In either case, it’s such a great bit.

What gives you faith in this system?

I feel like the big tech push to apps so folks can have data harvested better has become a surprising hurdle for the fediverse. Because I’ve found the web UI for most of the fediverse great, and the apps to be harder for devs to maintain.

If you have faith in these systems, I can see how one might see this as progress. But it’s like saying “the wheels are spinning, we must be moving” while stuck in mud. I consider it progress with they do something. When the people that are inflicting violence on random members of the community are physically stopped. When police stop treating unmasked men with guns violating the constitution as allies. When they can’t shuffle away murders to relocate them another state, and are instead stopped at the airport. Maybe then I could muster some faith for the judicial system, but as it sits, I don’t care if their on the ‘double plus super notice squared of the 5th degree warning’ they are going to stop nazis in the street for real this time.
I would take them at their word for that. If they made some sort of hyper real super pleasure heaven of pure bliss the tendency towards betterment would drive humans insane. Maybe once that failed there were just like ‘these fuckers are a mess, just dupe back when they thought they were happy and call it good.’

I think this mentality breaks down in the reality of the system we currently have. They are constantly working to make your vote mean less. The structures of our constitution effective gerrymander the states’ influence on national levels through the senate. Similarly, the electoral collage is built to favor the right. And after all that the higher courts have been packed by republican, effectively giving an override to functionally any law in the form of sloppy logic from a broken supreme court.
All of that to say, if you draw the line at specifically your ability to cast a vote, regardless of the voice you actually have, you’ve essentially decided so long as there is the theater of democracy you will do nothing to help save it.

Are you censoring yourself saying ass?
Someone’s pissy. Two main points of disagreement, let’s start at objectively wrong. From wikipedia:
The term “tankie” was originally used by dissident Marxist–Leninists to describe members of the Communist Party of Great Britain (CPGB) who followed the party line of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU). Specifically, it was used to distinguish party members who spoke out in defence of the Soviet use of tanks to suppress the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 and the 1968 Prague Spring, or who more broadly adhered to pro-Soviet positions.
So Tankie has never been about Tianenmen square, but it is the sort of lazy take one might land on when they don’t have much curiosity about history and do their best to connect the dots high school gave them.
To the more misleading wrong:
They think that Ukraine is legitimately filled with Nazis in their government and military and that Russia is rescuing the poor populace from their oppressors.
Russia is not a communist country, and hasn’t been in 30+ years, this is important to remember because too often people act as though Tankie’s reverence for the USSR applies at all to Russia, it does not. Broadly the tankie take on Russia/Ukraine is that fundimentally NATO is a militaristic arm of western Neo-colonialism, and that after encroachment Russia started the war. Then during the Biden administration in particular, the US used this as a proxy war against Russia, and like with many of it’s proxy wars, the US funded and armed politically radical groups. It is very much a view of there are no good guys in this war. I don’t even really fully agree with this reading but again, my point was more that you don’t really look into what your arguing and the laziness shows most notably in your guess about the history of the term tankie, and an apathy to even run spell check.
I heard this take, and I can’t shake it honestly. If it had been a small strange hero shooter with complex mechanics from some guys behind apex and TF2. I could absolutely see a devoted following that grew maybe akin to deadlock.
But this triple A, next big game highlight from Dorito Pope himself, about a trailer of a hero shooter ‘with a cool interesting style’, really was such the wrong vibe for it to start with.
