everyone has “shallow preferences,” and yes, some people definitely limit themselves to those alone, but not everyone is that dumb

i can’t say i have a definite answer to why dudes behave that way. if i had to guess i’d say these people have adopted the hive mentality of “it’s women’s fault i can never get a date” and can’t figure out why they get ghosted after acting like an asshole all the time. they don’t idolize asian women, they idolize cartoon depictions of asian women (girls).

one thing i can tell you for sure is that those people aren’t worth a molecule of your time and attention, and giving them either of those things is pretty much giving them what they want.

If you are many generations in and have, for all intents and purposes, lost your connection with the hyphenated part of your culture, and don’t have any intent to learn with or contect with that culture other than by name, it does feel a bit preformative

the entire last year should have been spent networking, organizing, planning–countless fucking things, in order to fix the fascism problem. but no one’s interested in realizing, much less taking action. and by that i don’t mean peaceful protesting
