Gee, I wonder why. Certainly not because there’s incriminating evidence to hide, right?

No, that’s the problem. Other staffers kept beating him and Eric to the market and pushing the odds before they could get their own bet in.

If we converted all of the existing cornfields currently making ethenol to solar farms, …

Trump has also complained about Bondi’s lack of clear communication skills
LOOOOOOLLLLLLLL

That’s a fair point, but I would argue that that’s far enough in the future for them to convince themselves it’s not real. Dear little Chet getting shot in the face by Muslims next week is probably harder to ignore.

I wasn’t really offering it as a solution to the current problem. I’m just saying that I don’t believe the current problem would exist if, for the past 10 years or more, rich kids were candidate fodder for the meat grinder.

I’m all for the draft on one very strict condition; it has to be truly random with no way for rich kids to get mommy and daddy to buy them out of it or into a cushy assignment. When the rich kids have an equal chance of dying in oil wars, there won’t be so many oil wars.

Fuck philanthropy, TAX THEM!

Updated:
Officials continue to monitor conditions at Wahiawa Dam but had some good news to share late Friday night: water levels are trending down.
Heavy rains are still forecast for the next couple of hours, so the evacuation warning remains in effect.
That was at 10 pm in Hawaii, or about 3 hours ago by my rough math.

In late July 2025, posts claimed an ex-CIA whistleblower alleged that the National Security Agency audited the 2024 presidential election and found that former Vice President Kamala Harris actually won.
The claims stem from an article published by a Substack account called This Will Hold on July 31, 2025. However, Snopes did not find any documentation or other evidence proving that such an audit occurred. No credible news outlet had reported on it, and the Substack article did not offer proof that it took place.
Snopes reached out to the NSA for comment on the veracity of the Substack article’s claims and did not receive a response. This Will Hold also did not respond to our questions about its report and the alleged audit.
The Substack article identified a person by the name of Adam Zarnowski as the ex-CIA agent who was involved in the audit. However, Snopes could not independently verify Zarnowski’s employment with the CIA or his alleged involvement in such an NSA audit.
In other words, this particular sibstack account has a documented history of spreading misinformation.

The only thing holding a lot of Americans back from violence is the knowledge that that’s exactly the excuse the regime wants to declare martial law and suspend elections. If they just jump to suspending fair elections anyway, then there will be nothing to stop the gloves from coming off. The billionaires and Congress creatures better run for their bunkers. Anybody that the people perceive as having a hand in getting us to this point, either through direct action or failure to react, won’t be safe.

Can we maybe stop linking to news outlets that are falling over themselves to pander to trump?
If the story doesn’t show up anywhere other than Fox, CBS, OAN etc, then it’s probably just propaganda. If it does show up elsewhere, then link to elsewhere.
I mean, a really easy way to not post links to CBS is to not go to CBS for news in the first place.

It’s a calculated campaign. And now they have mentally unstable people taking action
Projection, as usual.

To be clear, it’s correct that these few are not, apparently, “powerful” men. However, they are also not victims, and it’s highly unlikely that the DoJ has an open investigation looking into the people in this photo lineup, so they still were not supposed to be redacted in the first place. The law is very clear on who is allowed to be redacted.

A little context.
When contacted for comment on this story and told administration officials confirmed the document was a photo lineup, Khanna posted on X that “I wish DoJ had provided that explanation earlier instead of redacting then unredacting their names. They have failed to protect survivors, created confusion for innocent men, and have protected rich and powerful abusers. We must have full transparency and the truth.” He also thanked the Guardian for reporting on the connection to the photo lineup

He’s the fucking PILOT, not your god damned nanny (no offense to nannies intended). Move your own blanky.

U.S. District Judge Richard Leon, an appointee of former President George W. Bush, noted the military principal that service members enjoy weakened First Amendment protections to preserve discipline in the armed forces, but said that no court had ever extended that doctrine to retired service members.
He said he would not be the first to do so.
This is so stupid. The fact that he’s retired isn’t the reason this should be thrown out.
When I was in the military (US), we were taught this from the beginning. My drill instructors weren’t exercising their freedom of speech. They were teaching us how to do our damn job! And the concept came up occasionally throughout my service, with supervisors reminding us that we weren’t supposed to follow illegal orders. Again. Not a freedom of speech issue. It’d be like a driving instructor telling students that they’re not supposed to run stop signs, and people being, “Oh, how brave! He’s exercising his freedom of speech!” Fuckin A!

I remember hearing about that one back in the day.
Well, then why did you retoricly ask,
When is the last time there was a wholesale makeover of police leadership? Never
