Same style of stuff I miss. Mainly instrument related subreddits, books, and boutique blu-rays. However I don’t miss Reddit itself at all. Especially with how right wing brain rot it became. It felt like hanging out in a Facebook comments section.
What are the chances of this line of thinking catching on with the other republican fuck nuts? I’d normally say zero, but with Noem getting “transferred” and Tillis and Kennedy humiliating her with their questions (she may not feel the humiliation but she should), I’ll give it a 1% chance.

The governor of Arizona rejecting this is awesome and surprising. I have long hoped the right wing element gets booted from Arizona, manly to protect the beautiful landscapes and species that so many in the state don’t mind destroying.

Sounds like you have a healthier relationship with YouTube than a lot of people. YouTube really is a microcosm of the internet itself. A place where the innocuous and the poisonous exist side by side, and the difference between the two often coming down to where you let it take you.

I think the point is to not make us care about anything at all, including the Iran war. The sad part is that they are successful for the most part with everyday people.
It’s getting worse too. The amount of people who watch YouTube like TV (on their TVs) instead of regular ass old TV shows is making it to where no one is ever unplugged from the internet. So much of the content people view regularly is steeped in internet drama, or very online stuff like streaming, or politics optimized for the algorithm. TV sucks, but goddamn I think it may be healthier for people to have a break watching Law and Order or something instead of just being entrenched in the internet and internet drama 24/7.

Someone recently told me to start checking other sites than Amazon for prices because a lot of times you can find whatever you are looking for cheaper. I’ve been surprised how much this has turned out to be true. Especially with books.
