    Why’s it your job to deescalate a situation that angry customers turn hostile, particularly after initial attempts fail?

    For most people, that’s just allowing them to offload their stress onto you, and that’s not fair. We should have to hold other people accountable for their shitty behavior, lest they learn the wrong lessons.

    The only time imo you could argue it’s ok is with seniors, because they ain’t gonna learn…
