A Chinese researcher got arrested for trying to smuggle out medical records. They’re apparently looking at him for espionage.
They make it sound like he was stealing government secrets, when he was just trying to help people not die.
Yeah that’s how I’m reading it too. He may have been spying but it was definitely not on behalf of the CPC
