Me and my friends frequently discuss how we feel about our lives, jobs, our futures and what our plans are. The last time was yesterday.

I have a friend who was in that situation. After a while he just started jerking it again. Not watching so much porn and not jerking it every day is probably good for you, but going no fap is just gonna give you wet dreams to clean up and won’t actually solve any problems.

The whole “rarely find a mate” thing is first of all a really weird phrasing and secondly is a solvable problem. That manosphere crap is a learned helplessness grift. Lower your standards a bit, get some hobbies, go socialize. As long as you respect people, you’ll find plenty of people willing to give you a chance.

Personally, Mario Kart World, Kirby Air Riders, and the next Pokémon is enough to get me to spend $200-$300. Altogether though, I’m looking at $710 pre tax. That’s just too much for me.

I’d love to get a Switch 2, but $500 + $70/per game is just too steep for me.

Native English, poor Italian, barely functional Spanish. I can read Italian and Spanish with a bit of effort and understand both pretty well when spoken, but my speaking is severely lacking in both.

Also, the easiest way to start a conversation is to ask a question. “Hey what’s that?” “What are you doing?” It takes time to get a good feel for whether or not someone is actually looking for a conversation based on their response, but it is a skill anyone can learn and there’s generally no harm in short chats with strangers in public spaces.

It depends on where you are, but the huge grids of Manhattan can definitely be windy. They’re essentially big straight channels with nothing to block an air current.

It’s a bit of both. I’m a photographer and I like to think of my outfits like photos, especially when I’m going somewhere where I plan to network. I want to present myself as someone with a good sense of style and who knows how to make people look good. So my style is my own, but I try to make sure I look good and fit the vibe of where I’m going.

I recently went to a party focused on some spiritual stuff and to match the vibe I got some 3/4 harem pants, but I got ones with a slightly muted floral pattern to make it my own. I made the rest of my outfit plain and dark to match and really emphasize the new pants. It was a style a bit outside my comfort zone, but was a big hit and I got lots of compliments.

I’m an amnesiac and one of the first things I learned is that memories don’t really matter. The past is over, what matters is what you choose to do and not what you did. Obviously people do terrible and sometimes unforgivable things. I can sympathize with people who can’t let stuff go, but I personally just can’t be bothered by it anymore though. I have and will offer support to even my abusers.

To me, a person is how they act and what they want in the present. Lived experience affects everything a person does, the parts of a person’s past that are relevant reveal themselves in the present through how a person is.

I love Magic Pengel and Graffiti Kingdom. First is a turn-based JRPG, second is an action platformer. Both share the same gimmick where you collect materials to make the characters you play with the clunky in-game 3D modeler.

In those situations, I repeat it back to them and ask if I got it right. In my experience, people with accents tend to be amused when people earnestly struggle to pronounce their names.

I think western design is a result of aiming for the most realistic look possible. It limits the amount of artistic expression and results in less immediately attractive characters.

Eastern design is like 60% realistic 40% anime and that gives them enough room to create doll like characters that have exaggerated or unrealistic features that people naturally find attractive.

What could possibly spook The Heritage Foundation of all groups to make this tiny leftward shift just a few years after their big evil strategy was released? They’re still an evil organization, but they’re that last group I’d expect to say the government needs to spend more money on more people.

I mean either option practically never happens to me.

I think for older folks at least it has to do with the chemicals they were exposed to. I’ve met countless men in their 50s who really are just angry all the time and permanently on a hair trigger. Then they fondly talk about the good old days when trucks would gas their blocks with pesticides and they’d chase after them as kids. You also can’t discount the amount lead they were exposed to which is known to make people more aggressive.
