Common names are easy to parse gender until they’re not. I just met an elderly man named Courtney. My niece’s legal name is “Jaime”, which is a common male name amongst Mexicans. My elementary school had a Pat of both genders. Sam as well.

Then there are names from other cultures that speak non-Germanic, non-romance languages. Good luck knowing Mandarin or Cantonese names by reading them. Same with some Irish and welsh names. Same with names from Africa.

I just cannot see how there’s any complexity to it. Compared to league, what’s the point if you can just hit square to win?

My lightning is a gigantic piece of shit. It’s been in the shop 40 days in one year of ownership. The infotainment screen software runs at 15fps. VW doesn’t have an electric option with at least 320 miles of range (afaik) and their infotainment center screens are way too small (15” is the minimum at which a screen can be useful). Rivian is unaffordable and has the same slowness problem with their software. (Tesla does the right thing which is putting a processor that’s way overpowered in the infotainment stack which means that the software will be 120FPS for years to come)

I’d buy Chinese if I could, but I can’t. Chinese cars are the only cars that are as high of quality in the infotainment department (the most important part of a car), and I’m absolutely pissed that that is the reality.

After watching some playthroughs, I can comfortably say that this game is awful. That said, I don’t like 2D fighters, but this would absolutely not make me want to play one.

The queue-room idea was pretty cool as a concept though.

Fedora’s solid for me. I left Ubuntu distros because they’re always out of date with the latest desktop environment updates.

Raised there: it’s complicated. The state is 33:33:33 split of left, unaffiliated center, and right. Literally anything can happen there politically.

And in order to prosecute, you need an opposition party win or a republican with a backbone.

It hard swings left and right, to a more extreme degree than any state in the 21st century.
