Sometimes i get up in the middle of the night to turn off my torrent app since someone is seeding something from that ONE spot on my hard drive that is loud as hell. I have 4 HDD’s in my room i sleep in, but normally mine are quiet enough i don’t notice. But maybe 1% of the time they are so loud i can’t sleep.

The Desktop Variant. They use 3.5" drives and are normally white label drives and last me a long time. Ive had several portable 2.5" drives fail in less than 3 years, but not any 3.5" drives.

I have bought 7 Elements and they have all lasted at least 9 years. The Mybook series have been known to fail more often and i think they use a different drive than in the elements. I only buy Elements externals and Best buys Easystore since it’s the same as elements. I have several 14-18TB drives and they work great for torrenting and data hoarding.

Just a connection issue with the seeder/uploader. That happens sometimes on downloads, but it’s rare.

If you genuinely want them, you will easily find them on a google search. But I’m not going to give Nintendo any help taking down sites.

Lutris has a nice layout that just looks like a steam library or a netflix library, so it’s a common theme most people can adjust to easily. It also keeps track of your play time, so that is a nice feature as well. Plus games just work. Click on them, then you see the nostalgic logo of some development company you forgot about and everything just works.

So i found a full dump of all the black and white games on Archive.org. They all have a .bin and .cue file instead of .iso. So you would just use acetoneISO to convert the .bin to .iso and mount. Then you should be able to install and get it to work with Lutris or Heoric like the previous poster mentioned.

I’m sure there is a way with a Virtual machine or an emulator. I haven’t dug into any 16 bit games, but i know it can easily emulate all older 16 and 32 bit retro games, so i’d imagine you can. Do you have the games in question on your computer already?
