Humanity will not survive. Intelligence is a pathogen. Given every point you made, even if we survive the worst wars we can imagine, it would only start over again. NOBODY makes it through the great filter. Hopefully the planet will still be habitable after we are gone.

Who could have seen the United States becoming so fucked up evil? Unbelievable!

Oh yes, of course. There are no winners in a war among the regular citizens. But it’s coming regardless and I just hope that the US takes a fucking devastating shot to the ribs that it never recovers from. It may save the free world.

I hope this becomes another Vietnam. I hope others help Iran like others have helped Ukraine. I assume that the US military has lost a lot of expertise with the purge of non loyalists… I would love to see the US military bled dry by this war like Russia has been with Ukraine. Weakened and humiliated, the United States would cease to be the “leader of the free world” and take its new place as a big-but-fucked-up country that nobody holds in any kind of high esteem. I say this as an American. I am ashamed of my country and its people.
