You’re incoherent.

Don’t feed the trolls.
Wonder why this is getting downvoted.

Pretty solid overall, the mix sounds good.
The bass instrument that starts at 20s doesn’t really hit for me, it sounds a bit “bubbly”, I dunno how to describe it. Probably personal preference but I think something a bit cleaner and sharper would work better, give it some more intensity.
The tough-ass breakdown at 1:08 is sick, best part of the track imo and should be more of it.
The leadup into the drop that starts at 1:20 is too empty, needs some atmospherics like a slow sweep or something to fill the space better. Same at 1:55.
I think the drop at 2:10 needs to ramp up into the crescendo of the track. Bring that tough section (or elements of it) that I mentioned before (that you play only briefly at 2:08) into the main part of the track and really smash the peak of the track out into something huge. As it is, that drop builds up, hits that tough-ass bit and then just goes back to the kind of plodding bit that you started the track with. Needs a better payoff.
Keep up the good work, shows some promise.
As a small aside: some people (a lot?) get turned off by the AI artwork. It kind of leads people to make assumptions about AI use in your music as well. Like, I assume your vocals are AI generated? And once I’ve assumed that, it makes me wonder what other parts of your music are. Not a big deal to me, as someone just reviewing this track, but for an audience that you want to attract it could be impactful.

Yeah the bleakness of From’s settings is definitely an inherent part of their worldbuilding.

Elden Ring has the deepest, most complex worldbuilding of any game ever made, and it’s not even close. For anyone interested in worldbuilding I strongly urge you to watch some Elden Ring lore videos from The Tarnished Archaeologist to learn about the techniques that the Elden Ring devs use to put incredibly deep and subtle worldbuilding into their games. It’s changed the way I think about worldbuilding in any context.

As a young nerd obsessed with RPGs and William Gibson’s work I was outraged at the idea of putting fantasy into cyberpunk. But then I picked up a damaged copy of the Shadowrun rules from a bargain bin and was blown away by the worldbuilding, they really found a way to make it all fit thematically and logically and I ended up running the game for years.

What, exactly, are you hoping to see? What kind of “defiance”?

The standard payment to an artist on Spotify is “$0.003 to $0.005 per stream”: https://simplebeen.com/artists-make-on-spotify/
That is basically nothing for any artist that isn’t in the top tier of mainstream success.
prior to Spotify coming along the industry was in decline as downloading MP3’s on torrents and file sharing programs was the norm
You’re essentially pirating music by using Spotify, you are not paying the artists that you listen to in any meaningful way.

I’m still getting a ridiculous amount of value from Spotify
If only the same could be said for the artists you’re listening to…

That seems extremely high, can you explain your listening habits? Are you listening to all of those albums start to finish? Are you selecting each of those albums or just letting the algorithm run wild?

Yeah I missed that last one when they posted. We’ll give them 24 hours to respond and then remove both those posts and give them a warning not to do it again.
