Yeah, I’d say they are in comparison. The problem is they’re really really expensive. I get it isn’t ever going to be cheap or cheaper to do it their way, but the buy in is like double to triple. That doesn’t include replacement/upgrade parts down the road. It’s worth it for a really small niche of people for sure though.

10·4 days agoSuspected? I mean, I hate to be real here but I’m pretty sure it’s obvious who it was this time.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•What would the next pres of USA have to do to gain back trust for America? Hold a televised event saying the last person was just a fuck up?
5·6 days agoFor sure everyone in that list should get mandatory 5 years for just being on the list. More if there’s other instances.
For sure, lobbyists need to be gone period.
I don’t honestly think you could rewrite the Constitution and have it be impartial in the slightest. Maybe if you pulled 100+ random Americans and put them in a room for a year with no outside contact. There’s no politician that isn’t bought already that should do it.

News@lemmy.world•Proton CEO warns global age verification push will mean "the death of anonymity online"
7·7 days agoI’m probably a better hooker. I feel like I’d just let you down as a blackjack dealer.
I’ve commented before but I will again because I got a lot more answers than I was expecting. Thank you everyone so much, there is a ton of info that I’ve never heard or even considered.

News@lemmy.world•SNAP benefits don't pay for rotisserie chicken. A bipartisan bill might change that
13·7 days agoBasically. We have a few grocery stores that have restaurants and put their left over food in a cooler to buy when they close (8pm). You can’t use snap until they relabel it and stick it in the cooler thing. Same food but because it isn’t handed to you it’s snap approved.
Rofl yeah, it makes me wonder why anyone would live in that town. It gets destroyed like every week but they’re all just cool with it.

politics @lemmy.world•Trump's spiritual advisor says that saying no to him is like saying no to God
6·7 days agoMan, I don’t want to be offensive but even if you’re conservative leaning (which is totally fine) Trump as a person is freaking nuts. If you can’t agree with that you’re probably in a cult or have a cult mentality. If someone you worked with had the same personally they’d be fired and you’d think they’re nuts.
Yeah, plus NMS has come a really really long way since release and they haven’t ever asked for another dime.

News@lemmy.world•Rep. David Scott, a Georgia Democrat seeking his 13th term in Congress, dies at age 80
51·7 days agoYeah, I bet it’s like Nancy Pelosi, her net worth is the equivalent of her working as speaker of the house for like 2,000 years or something. Glad that’s not a red flag at all? I guarantee if you bought a car for 30k the IRS would be up your butt where you got the money.
Thank you so much for the thoughts, they all make sense.

Pretty much. I’d love to see a party actually have balls. Ever when the Dems are in the majority they just circle jerk each other.
