Thank you! The poor/working class were just as repressed after the revolution. It’s a dumb comparison.

This is something that I always think about when people mention guillotines and why the example is so stupid to me. The aftermath of the French Revolution was bad for the Feudal Monarchy, but also wasn’t good for Robespierre and the Jacobins. If you recall, he was also beheaded by the guillotine after shooting off his own jaw and the sans-culottes were repressed by the bourgeoisie after the revolution “stabilized”. It’s critical to have a well-developed plan in any power vacuum or there will be far more bloodshed, instability and other bad guys will just take over.

Laura Fine took a ton of AIPAC money to split the vote from Kat. They were also paying influencers $1500 a post to disparage Kat. She’s Palestinian, so they threw millions against her in the final days of the race to ensure democracy didn’t function.

Had to look this up to verify. Holy shit is this grim.

These are great testimonies - I can’t wait to try Inscryption.

Monster Train was fantastic and Monster Train 2 is even better. I love the challenge modes and the new hellspawn.

I played the second one and I couldn’t finish it because it was boring. Think really basic turn-based rpg like Dragonquest with some half-baked Pokemon elements thrown in. Full disclosure - I really don’t like Dragonquest. It was cool in the day, but now it just feels basic and archaic, which some people are into.

I bounced so far off that game. The constant endless hordes of enemies just made it an annoying tower defense

I mean, for decades every time shit like this happens he makes the same or a similar statement. He’s been constant with his messaging.

If it’s worth anything, I appreciate the level of detail in your explanation. It makes you more human and allows me additional points to empathize. Also, if I were a hiring manager and had the background on your approach to technology, I’d be much more inclined to hire you.

It’s really not something that I’d watch - I stick to comedy 90% of the time, but my partner was very insistent and made a good case for it.

Awesome - thanks for the update. Nothing wrong with thinking and approaching things critically.

Oh really? That’s a little disappointing and deceptively presented in the, “behind the scenes”. Thank you for the correction. I’ll still stand by that the shots were phenomenal, acting and writing were great. I’ll never forget the last scene.

I highly recommend the short Netflix series, “Adolescence”. Not only is it highly topical and insightful into the areas you mentioned, but they’re 45 minute episodes done in one shot. The acting, directing and filmography is incredible.

This is the really depressing part that people really aren’t understanding. We’ve had bad leadership before, but none that have done this much irreparable damage in such a short amount of time with effects that are making the entire world worse for the foreseeable future. But yeah, Harris would have been the same /s

All I have are jokes and a small, supportive community.
I don’t know a ton about Norway, nor have I visited. Can you edify me on the reality compared to the Potemkin village facade? Are there social safety nets? How do they work/not work in practice? What’s phony about other European countries? The closest I’ve been to Norway is Denmark and I had a lot of conversations with locals about healthcare and qol and they all seemed better off than what we have in America.
