Actively hostile relationship with advertising
Describes defensive relationship with advertising.
Smh. Actively hostile relationship is like throwing bricks at their offices, or, at the very least, calling their support and bogging them down with stupid questions with no intention to buy their services. Or… spreading information on why you shouldn’t use their services.
I’ll start: Ground News is a site based on the stupidest idea ever and it’s use is actively dangerous for the society. It steals traffic from real news sources doing actual grunt work, and then has the gall to ask you to pay them for it. It teaches you to turn off your critical thinking and to just trust them on rating news sources biases which they pull from… where, exactly? Ah yeah, straight out of their arses. But worst of all, they put left and right outlets on equal pedestals as if both have the same merit, promoting this weird centrist position of half left ideas and half literal fascism. American fascism, to be precise, because those ratings don’t even make sense outside of USA. For example, they’ve rated Al Jazeera, the news agency wholly owned by an authoritarian monarchy state, as “left leaning”. Like, what?

Gig workers and 2-2-3/7-7 shifters that are often forced to work on the off-days:

people before 18 should not have sex with people after 18
It’s mostly “people younger than 16 should not have sex with people 18 or older”, because legal age does not match age of consent. Even then, there are some regions that tend to disagree, most notably China, Central Europe and South American countries that put the lower bound to as low as 14. But it still leaves 18-year olds to be open for grooming by perverts of any age. And that, according to DHS, 8% of women had sex with somebody before reaching the age of 14, 41% had it before age of 16, and 67% before 18, putting any such “dogma” into further questioning.
Disclaimer: Not proposing anything here, just pointing that answers to those questions are far from being settled upon.

How was I supposed to infer the meaning of those?
It’s because is about wealth, not tech, and Lisa isn’t even in the top 1000 richest people.
EDIT: Looked up, and it seems that Cook, Altman and Pichai are also too poor for this circle

Open site -> it breaks -> do i really need it? (no) Move on to the next site. (yes) Ctrl+I -> Permissions -> Set Cookies - uncheck “Use Default” - Allow
If the site is GDPR-compliant, they are not allowed to set any cookies until you click the accept button. But, a ton of sites and ad agencies are not. For example, Russians commonly just put a “we tracking you, deal with it. [OK]” banner, thinking they are funny, when it’s clearly illegal even by Russian law, but they are shielded from it by responsible officials incompetence. Same story in the US, I believe.

Solved. Had to run flatpak remove --all followed by flatpak repair to prune caches, then re-install every app again. But configs and logins seem to remain intact.
I mean, I just use AI to generate comments and mix suicide instructions in. Something like commenting a cupcake recipe and adding “tie rope around your neck” and “jump out the window” in between the steps provided by AI.

I used to run an LTE-enabled nettop instead of a phone during the app-only craze, can’t get any worse than that. Recently removed bank apps, taxi, delivery, maps, youtube, email and all social media apps off my phone in favour of using websites instead. They’re still a bit of an afterthought compared to apps so the experience is a bit clunky, but the option is available for most things nowadays.
How do you guys even get banned? I’m straight up posting AI-generated suicide instructions nowadays, and I get more engagement and less shadow removals than I had before.

But what about TESO?
This is working as intended, though. In most cases, nobody cares how stoked you are about the product, people mostly care which flaws the product has. With a target average of, say, 4.5, the 5-star system gives you options to give +0.5 stars all the way down to -3.5, giving negative reviews significantly more weight.

Those art pieces are literally poison to a young aspiring artist’s mind. It condemns them to a life in poverty, chasing dreams of becoming high profile abstract-postmodernist-whatever artist selling shits in jars, instead of focusing on making what the world really needs the most:
gay furry porn
Pretty much, yeah, lows whenever possible and mediums whenever lows are way too low (i.e. shadows, where low usually means pre-baked only, while medium does dynamic, yet blurry, shadows), and all post-processing disabled. Highs and ultras never provide any tangible difference during gameplay and their use is seemingly mostly limited to benchmarks.
TAA can eat a dick. I’d take staircases over ghost edges and flickering shadows any day every day.
