Did they though?

There were 177 defendants at the Nuremberg and other trials, 142 were convicted and 25 sentenced to death. But the The Office of Chief Counsel for War Crimes had identified 2,500 major war criminals, and the United States forces arrested almost 100,000 Germans as war criminals.

Even if we assume that 2500 number is truly the number of major war criminals responsible for the genocide and enslavement of millions, that comes out to a 5.68% (142/2500) conviction rate, and 1% death rate (not all 25 died by execution).

It seems unlikely that the genocide and enslavement of over 10 million people was the responsibility of only 142 people, let alone 25.

What happened to the rest of them? Many of them used the Ratlines. Germany may never have recovered from it’s Nazi problem, it may simply have exported some of it.

Because she’s named in very few of the lawsuits as defendant, and all the victim testimony indicates that she primarily groomed them and occasionally participated in the rape? Because she is included in very few of the financial and political conversations in the files? If she played a bigger role, don’t you think she would have featured a little more prominently in both of those categories?

You don’t need insider knowledge, a solid decade of court transcripts, victim statements, and emails are right there to read.

Maxwell obviously is entirely complicit in trafficking, abuse and rape. But the eugenics, political manipulation, and money laundering were pretty clearly Epstein’s bag.

All of finances, the extent and details of rapes, probably murders, and I assume even more horrors. Maxwell groomed kids for Epstein and occasionally took part in the rape, but for the most part wasn’t in the room, by choice. Maxwell seemed to be far more interested in just living a life of luxury.

Unfortunately Epstein was the main person who really knew each and every skeleton in all of the closets across the entire global corrupt system. The others who would probably be better informed than Maxwell, like his lawyer and accountant, are very free.

It’s not that I’m not grateful that the UN has published something about this, but when there are 3 separate caveats in the first sentence that “it’s totally not us saying this officially!”, it emphasizes how useless the UN is at dealing with its blessed founding member. Really disappointing while being in no way surprising.

For anyone who doesn’t want to click through to rawstory and then Twitter (why does Lieu still use this?), the document in question is EFTA00020517 (redacted version). Trigger warning for both rape and murder although it does not go into significantly more detail than the rawstory link. I think this document was from the batch at least a month ago though.

It also claims that the coroner ruled the death a suicide even though officers on the scene said there was no way it could have been.

The Epstein files obviously contain a lot of information about rape and trafficking, which is very understandably and rightly in the spotlight. But what the files also contain is very detailed information about exactly how our laws and financial systems are being actively exploited to maintain the power of a select few. That is something that is much harder to write a quick article about, by design, but we haven’t even seen some of these names mentioned in the media:

• Rockefeller
• Murdoch
• von Habsburg

And those are just individuals, not companies. We haven’t heard anything about JP Morgan Chase, Sotheby’s, Goldman Sachs… Or even the universities like Harvard.

You can’t usually pull a single short damning quote from an email for them because it’s not as simple as the horror of one person raping children, but it lays the foundation of how this horror was allowed to continue at such a large scale by so many people.

Careful of your eyes! I’m pretty sure you need a special filter or telescope for the sun

While the conclusion of it being replaced with an LED is obviously not what happened, I think it’s very possible that the sun was often orange for him when he was growing up, because of air pollution.

30 years ago, depending on where you lived, there were more cars on the road with less efficient fuel consumption, more people using fireplaces, more people burning trash, less regulation of various industries etc. Searching for images with the phrase “smoke pollution sun” will give you a lot of photos of orange suns, and they’re definitely not all altered for effect. I’ve seen red suns in real life too when wildfires are really bad near my area even though that’s thankfully rare.

We know not the sun itself that is orange, but in a polluted environment it certainly looks like it is - and if you don’t get a great education, I can see how you might think that’s the actual color of the sun.
