I’m using a Pinetime
It’s not the best smartwatch, but for the price it’s awesome. Fully open source and open hardware, it does what it has to do and does not shares a single thing with some shitty 3rd party
It connects with gadgetbridge

I have Frigate with a TPU, that is connected to Home Assistant.
As soon as we leave the house (and HA detects us outside of “home”) it enables recording and motion detection on Frigate.
A blueprint for frigate allows to send notification on motion detection. It’s a simple but frustrating setup to put in place (thanks to Coral USB TPU lacking proper docs / updates) but now it works nicely.
You don’t need Frigate+ but you could do a 1-shot buy to get enhanced detection models (my cats are often detected as persons and triggers false warning, FG+ should help)

If you already have a domain name and don’t want to switch to something else, know that some DNS registrar have an API to handle the domains. For a short period of time I had to rely on this and had a little python script to get my current IP and apply it to every A record in my DNS zone.
It worked well (but then I
took an arrow in the kneehad static IP)
