In my circle of friends none of the US Americans living abroad file their tax returns and haven’t done so for many years… especially if you’re not planing to move back to the US, I really don’t see the need to continue compliance with the IRS or renounce a citizenship. Keep that passport and keep voting. Throw dog shit over the embassy fence.

Just a quick look won’t hurt anyone

Finally the excuse the courts needed to postpone illegal detention cases even further. If the detainees die in their concentration camps the administration won again.

But hey, maybe I’ll get $12 back through some class action bullshit.

Except the US are still considered a safe country and asylum seekers have been denied and sent back.
