Idk, I’ve played a lot of Eve Online, and I usually try to be kind to players that are new or friendly.
Sure, if they are in your “tribe”, you need to train new talent … everyone else is fair game, though.

Good thing I don’t use a profile picture on lemmy …
The other 4% are playing EvE Online.
I remeber letter on keypads when I was like 14 and using sms on a keypad to text my girlfriend on a Nokia phone. Why are you still using that?
except phone keypads and computer keypads are inverted.
True.
But this isn’t about computer keybads, but ATM keypads and they are the same as my phone keypad.
I have a workaround for that! Take out your phone and search for a hidden app called “phone” (should be pre-installed). There should be a “keypad” tab. There you can type in the pin from muscle memory to get the actual numbers.
When this first made the rounds I managed to see the gold-white a few times, but it’s almost always blue-black for me.
So that’s why Elon makes all these kids …
But do we really want 15B people?
but the only “funnel-web spiders” we have are Eratigena
Those are “funnel weavers” not “funnel-web spiders”, but the similar terms very often cause confusion.
When I watched Real Time and LWT last week, both had the usual static intro.
And bring back that static TV intro too. Dumb ass.
It’s still there?
Yeah, with low-sec camps we’d often give advice if we killed someone that turned out to be new. Though we didn’t usually reimburse them.
No such leniency in null-sec or wh-space, though. You’re either blue or you get killed (& podded) because it has to be assumed that every new account is an alt/scout/spy from the enemy.
