Because of tthe possibility of a war, when looking at a place to rent I’m actively considering how likely the neighborhood could get bombed
If WW2 is anything to go by then Amsterdam is relatively safe as there are little strategic targets apart from Schiphol maybe. Living in Rotterdam would be worse I guess. This is something I am highly aware of when living in Antwerp lol. The place will be gone quickly.
True, but we do have the Marineterrein which is a ‘former’ military base in the center of the city, which still has some military use.
