      “Israeli” society is on an exceptional level of bloodthirsty, racist, genocidal frenzy. It’s not quite as bad in the US yet (maybe because they don’t yet feel the same kind of existential threat to their settler project) but yes, similar dynamics exist in every settler state and colonial power.

        I think this is an effect of demographic differences. “Israel” is 73.2% Jewish, whereas the US is 56.3% non-Hispanic white. By contrast, In 1940, they comprised approximately 89.8% of the total population. That’s why the bloodthirsty, racist, genocidal faction within the US is panicking about immigration and birth rates - the material base for their project is weakening.

          You make a good point. Demographic diversity plays a role for sure. Oppressed minorities are less likely (though they still often do) to identify with the settler project.
