SELLANO SIMMONS: Yeah. First of all, Amy, thanks for having us.
Brian [McGinnis] is facing four counts, three counts of assault on police officers. There are three individuals named, that are law enforcement. The fourth and final count is resisting arrest. He’s being charged by the United States government in Washington, D.C., Superior Court. And we’re looking forward to having our day in court regarding these matters.
Having watched the video, It’d be hard to call anything he did ‘assault’. Resisting, sure. Resisting tyrrany and genocide especially.
Assault now includes hurting their feelings.
The legal definition of assault includes verbal threats.
Police stretch this into “perceived threats” and then train themselves to be terrified of everything.
You can’t “resist arrest” if the only thing they were arresting you for is resisting arrest.
There is some crazy stat around people who are in jail for years with the only charge being resisting arrest. It’s disgusting

Protest is meant to be loud and disruptive. Thats how they work

A response in the same vein as the classic “I’m just asking questions” to a comment in the same vein as those who claim people suing the government and police after civil rights abuses are “just looking for a payday.”
Do you think people can’t read your tone in your first comment?

I didn’t ask if you were worried, I asked if you thought the people reading your comment are dim enough to not pick up your tone.
Pretending like you weren’t being negative about this guys’ choice of protest isn’t cute lol
I’m negative and cynical about every politician why should this guy be special?
Reading comprehension is a real struggle for you, isn’t it?
Gee. Maybe it has something to do with calling him a crayon cruncher?
But what do you care, right?
It’s not like this society is already overrun with assholes who pretend they’re better than everyone else and for some reason have no problem showing it. 🤷♂️
He’s a former Marine, Marines are crayon eaters.
Technically correct, but that tone is a yikes. Don’t think everyone is gonna get the crayon muncher reference…
