I installed a parachute hammock at the cottage, jumped in and ended up in the same situation as the comic.

I had to first learn to get in and out safely.

Then I built a small shelf i could place drinks on when reaching from the hammock.

Then I had to remember to bring my book, pillow, blanket, phone, headset and anything else with me for my hammock session.

The only thing that interrupts me now is a toilet visit … but I’m not installing toilet facilities in the hammock.

At least they can come on the outside

All throughout history it’s our young people who are brave enough to stand up to fascism, authoritarianism and oppression.

I ride a motorcycle, an old BMW and I named her Sophie. I don’t plaster it all over the bike, it’s just a silly thing I do for myself to remind me of the past. The name is after Sophie Scholl, a young 21 year old university student who stood up and protested against the Nazi regime in her country in 1943.

Even in the face of severe punishment she kept protesting until they arrested her and put her to death.

This young man is giving up so much, maybe giving up their future, to fight for all of us … there is no greater bravery than that.

It’ll be funny and poetic until we all get to watch a contestant die for the first time during a prime time live event … and the crowd roars and the ratings go through the roof as everyone realizes … the gladiatorial games to the death have returned … and this time we can stream it!!!

All the dystopian movies, books, short stories, writing that have ever been done over the past century … they were meant as a warning … NOT A GUIDE!!!

Death is not that far away in a home shop or garage

Last year I had some trouble with my air compressor. It was a small double tank portable unit that kept hissing with a loose connector. I put up with it for months, then I finally looked at it. It was a high pressure line leading to the regulator that was about to explode … if it had broken off, it would have launched the whole regulator unit like shrapnel into my face or hands like a small grenade.

I junked the whole thing and bought an even bigger compressor with a 40 gallon tank. Now my worry is that if this tank ever explodes, it will take me out and half the garage.

No one cares about the dead mother … no one will care about the child after its born

The unborn baby is at its peak right now because once it comes into this world … absolutely no one will give a shit about it

US government is indebted to the Cartels … the Cartels make it possible for the CIA, NSA, FBI and every other three letter agency to do whatever they want throughout Latin America … and if they aren’t doing anything in Latin America, the Cartels are a great way for the US government to generate money through money laundering and the drug trade to get the money they need to finance whatever clandestine shit they’re doing this year

Torvalds could assemble a system by collecting old outdated electronic junk from a trash heap and make it work

Tech Bro needs to convince million dollar investors (or his wealthy parents) to finance his latest setup in order to install the latest Windows or Mac OS … without money to buy new shiny things and proprietary software, he’s totally lost

America trying to reduce their housing costs by changing the drapes and buying a smaller coffee table … while no one wants to talk about the over stuffed walk in closet full of expensive junk and the four car garage filled with six vehicles.

Trying to save a bit of money because they want to renovate the pool that no one ever uses.

I ask my wife to check on me once in a while when I’m in the garage.

Most accidents in the garage happen really quietly. It’s like when people drown … deadly things can happen without a sound ever made or not much sound.

I’ve heard of guys getting stuck under their vehicles because they ignored basic caution and thought they could get away with a risky situation.

I know two mechanics that dropped their vehicle from a hoist, and one of them were killed.

So many things in a garage that can casually kill or maim you

• Air tools or air compressors
• drills drill presses
• saws for wood or metal
• grinding wheels
• lathe
• welding equipment
• presses or jacking equipment moving heavy weights or generating lots of force
• chemicals and not knowing how dangerous they can be
• carbon dioxide or other substances displacing oxygen

… and that’s just in a garage … the dangers increase when you start wood working construction or renovations in, on, under or near a house

Software alone would probably have to be replaced.

Who in their right mind in the US government would trust another country, any country, to install and run their own software on their leaders aircraft … especially an aircraft that would be used in an emergency event.

Why bother? … just fly the dirt bag to Arizona and tell him he’s in Riyadh … go visit a local mosque or something … he won’t know or care … snap a photo and tell him and all his MAGA morons that he was in Riyadh and had a McD’s there

It’s not like these idiots like to follow reality anyway.

I’m pretty sure there were a few people that were praying for this person to die

Imagine having your dead corpse brought into the morgue with ten gunshot wounds and wearing a blood stained lobster bib with a little cartoon robber on it.
