We had a really long discussion going on in our techno whatsapp groups about that and it is all the more shocking as most of us (including the women) felt that techno is mostly a safe space from this kind of thing. Glad the organizers took action.

I have many russian (+ukrainian/kazakhstan etc.) friends and in fact they have a somewhat different attitude to food and restaurants as compared to europeans.
From my point of view they enjoy preparing food together, everyone brings something with them (salad, pickles, vodka… all of course self made), whereas in european countries I feel its more expected that the host provides the food already on the table or you go to a restaurant.

I mean they could build dirty bombs, rendering whole citys uninhabitable even if they are intercepted. Personally I would rather not find out.
This is the spectrum of dialects you hear when you walk 10km across every european country lol
I am a non native english speaker but could understand every accent you posted easily, meanwhile most native germans dont understand Platt-german, deep-Bavarian or Swiss-german like at all. You pick up a word or four per sentence but thats about it.
As I initially checked the Wikipedia article for Uyghur Genocide it took me about 1 minute to find that the article had his name spread all over it and the sources it cited. He works for the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, which is funded by the USA.
Every source you check eventually circles back to him. There is also not really any video or photo evidence, compare this to the terabytes of videos of the gaza genocide. There is like 1 or 2 picture that shows a prison and curled up inmates, this doesnt look good but still better than Guantanamo or the El Salvadorian prisons.
China accuses the USA of funding terrorists in that region, which also lacks good sources but given the USA track record of funding separatists for regime change for example in 1953 Iran “coup d’état” and the USA listing China as their enemy number 1 e.g. in their newest national security strategy paper, it doesnt seem too far fetched.
Yes this doesnt mean there cant be possibly any wrong-doing on the Chinese side but the evidence for that is scarce at best and manufactured at worst.
The one China policy is also a direct result from China winning WW2 against Japan, Japan used to colonize Taiwan and genocided the Chinese. Imagine questioning other results from WW2 like Polands indepence.
Also the british used to occupy Tibet and looking at other british occupations like Palestine or Sudan (with Egypt) it gets pretty clear that they left nothing but chaos. So given all this history it, to me, seems justified that China wants to keep their country together and looking at satellite pictures from Xinjiang we dont see rivers of blood like in Sudan or thousands of pictures of child amputees like in Palestine.
Its really convenient how in the West every separatist movement like Catalonia in Spain or the Reichsbürger in Germany is immediately not valid, why all separatist movements of the Wests “adversaries” are immediately legit.

I mean you can easily buy it online as a supplement. But while likely not harmful, it probably doesnt make sense to supplement it daily from 30 years old onwards, for an illness you might or might not develop at double this age. If you feel like you are old and memory is getting worse then it might be worth a try, but then again you should be visiting a doctor…

There is a better logo for capitalism
Yeah thats right, rather attack the message and argue about technicalities and deflect from the fact that literal fascism was happening back then (and of course is still).
Fascism is a broad term and can mean anything from anti socialist to nazism, both the german and italian wikipedia articles are pretty clear about that (now go on with “wiKiPedIa iS nOt An aCtUal soUrCe”). Fascio is just the italian word for alliance and Obama continued the use of the Nato alliance that Bush began for Afghanistan. In fact he ordered the deployment of 17000 soldiers to it in whats known as “the surge”.
We also know that this fascio invoking was based on false and partly manufactured “evidence” (see allegations of weapons of mass destruction), this in itself is straight out the fascist manual, like Poland attacking a German radio station was manufactured to start WW2.
Obama had 2663 days at war, which is more than Hitler and like Hitler he directly ordered the killing of civilians in other countries. That doesnt mean that he was as bad as Hitler of course, but it means that he is a fascist.
If you lost a loved one at a wedding that Obama bombed you would use the exact term fitting for Obama, which is fascist.
Its easy to downplay the daily killing of people on a false premise from a cozy home far away isnt it?
Your opinion is objectively wrong.
its actually not. You need something the size of at least half the wavelength of the microwave, or multiples of it. Thats why forks and aluminium foil spark a lot (they have “antennas” that allow for charge separation through the microwave and if two of those separated charges are in close proximity a spark is formed).
But if you have one single “antenna” like in a knife or spoon, no part of large charge separation is close enough for a spark.
However if you dont know about this you better not put anything metallic or conductive into the microwave.

I am late GenZ, we used to drink all day, every day from pumps on playgrounds and parks that were just unfiltered well water. Until they shut them down one by one. This was not a GenZ idea, this were Boomers and GenX trying to line their pockets with the “savings” these measures had.
Legends say that Boomers and GenX then complain about children not playing outside anymore.
If you blame GenZ or Alpha for how they have grown up in the society and environment you left them with it just reeks of the signature Boomer mentality to fuck everything up for everything but themselves and then blaming everyone else.
Yeah because Windows turned you all into tech-iliterate people and Linux is a good start into learning how to properly use a computer. Recently a Coworker approached me because she needed to move every photo from one folder to another and she has been dragging and dropping them all day but its just to many. While technically some Windows people know its possible with Windows cmd in a one-liner, most if not all Linux users will know the command in a heartbeat.
There is exactly one OS that improves the skills of its users just by using it.
Maybe if Windows and Mac users wont act like a bug stuck on its back once they encounter the slightest hint of a problem and start bothering the Linux guy with it, the Linux guy would be less condescending on their OS choice.
And yet when there is a school shooting, everyone of these is just cowardly waiting outside

I would recommend anything Thermal Grizzly: https://www.thermal-grizzly.com/
Simply because the owner has two 1 hour long videos explaining how its made and tested and it actually seems to be one of the best.
Windows file explorer lacked tabs when dolphin had them for a decade or so and its still not even close to even the top of file managers. Also its terrible slow, unreliable, crashes often and has 4 different UIs baked in.
Do some plugins for Dolphin, I feel like they are neat because a) other devs that want to implement a function now have a blueprint for it b) with downloads/stars metric that these add-on stores provide you get a good idea of what the community actually wants.
