“A lot of people are saying” is Trumps version of Christians saying “God says I’m right.” With Christians, they are the only ones who get to speak for God, who agrees with them on everything, and anyone saying otherwise is lying. With Trump, the “lot of people” are never people you can directly question or challenge. He’s making it up, saying he has a consensus but cant prove it.
A lot of people are saying Luigi Mangione did a horrible thing for the best fucking reason and was totally justified in doing so.
