FBI Director Kash Patel said Tyler Robinson, the suspected killer of Charlie Kirk, wrote a note stating his intention to “take out” the influential conservative activist.
Patel, speaking to Fox & Friends on Monday, said the FBI had “forensic evidence” of the note, but that it had “since been destroyed.”
They have a note but it’s been destroyed. Yeah, nothing fishy about this BS at all and it goes without saying completely incompetent that they continue to leak half baked, incomplete investigative information.
A right winger killed a right winger, at a right wing event, on a right wing university campus, in a right wing city with a right wing mayor, in a right wing state with a right wing mayor and their response is to blame the left. This country is beyond fucked. But the pedos will do anything to push us to total facism and protect the other pedos.
I love how the obviously false narrative will continue to live on in left-wing echo chambers while the rest of the world and the courthouse and lawyers will all know the actual truth.
I don’t think Robinson really fits neatly into a categorisation.
Its hard to know what reporting I’ve read is accurate, and which isn’t, but he seems like a person with a complex story.
With the way Trump and his fellow pedos are controlling and threatening the media, the vast majority of what is being released my the media is probably inaccurate at best.
“The roommate was a romantic partner, a male transitioning to female,” Cox said. “I can say that he has been incredibly cooperative, this partner has been very cooperative, had no idea that this was happening.”
I think that would he she, you misgendering motherfucker.
The trans person is being pressed to give a story they want to hear I bet. I would take it all with salt unless there is more evidence.
I hear you, and I hate to defend Spencer Cox, but he’s been pretty good about gendering appropriately in the statements I’ve seen. It’s by avoiding pronouns altogether, but he does appear to be trying.
I guess I’m just touchy given that the whole tenor of their media communications these days seems designed to forge an association in the public’s mind between violent crime and trans people.
You’re not wrong. Everyone reading this, please take note that every piece of information being reported is coming from Utah law enforcement, then secondhand from Cox, and the FBI, much of it now via Kash Patel. Some of that information has already been demonstrated to be plainly false (“trans messages” on the rounds), while other things can be accepted as true (video and stills, actual messages on the rounds, chat content), and some is just “whaaa … ?” (“There was a handwritten note, we know it, and we know exactly what was in it, but it doesn’t exist anymore.”)
Then layer on top of that that the administration is leadning real hard into the “left-wing radicals” thing, and their leaning is being heavily reported by a media landscape that is incapable of comprehending the “joking not joking meme culture” of places like 4chan, 7chan, corners of SomethingAwful, old IRC, Usenet, StileProject. Someone I know tells me: “I lived there. Still visit there. It’s always, and I do mean always, right wing shit.” I was there, too, and it is always right wing shit.
Cox says Robinson was “radicalized by Reddit, by dark places on the internet” and then concludes that Robinson is a “leftist.” Lol no, that’s not what happens on “dark places on the internet” (I mean, unless you include tankies? Maybe?)
Again, to everyone, be very critical of the messaging you’re seeing come out of the investigation, the administration, and the media reporting on it. This is shaping up to be not “wag the dog” but just a disembodied tail wagging itself.
Kash then begins to talk about how he personally walked the crime scene and at that time they found evidence including a “screw driver” on the roof.
Well the first reporting I heard of this screwdriver is that it was found in the woods near the rifle. Or are there two screwdrivers?
Is it a leak if it’s hearsay?
deleted by creator
was it destroyed along with Kash’s Meth Stash at that vet clinic?
cocaine is a hell of a drug. kash needs it to function normally.
“Forensic evidence.” So, like, bro said “he totes wrote a note” and then someone uses science to say “there was paper over here; must be where the note went!” Is this the kind of Keystone cops bullshit we’re being asked to believe?
If there’s evidence, then it should be producible. A notepad with the imprint of the removed page. A hard drive with the deleted and recovered data. You don’t get to hide behind the term ‘forensic’, saying ‘trust us bro’.
So what kind of forensic evidence? Show it.
and then someone uses science to say “there was paper over here; must be where the note went!”
Ah yes, Bones science
Close cousin to the sort of science seen on NCIS that states that two sets of hands on a keyboard allow for one to hack a computer FASTER
At least NCIS people had the decency to admit it was intentional
Keystone Kash.
Isn’t this just poisoning the well so he cant get a fair trial? If I were this dude’s lawyer, I’d be jumping up and down in court (with glee) to get a gag order in this asshat.
There is no longer the rule of law. This is them flaunting that fact.
just like they botched the other youknowwho in newyork murder.
It’s been less than a WEEK, and they DESTROYED the NOTE??
How convenient for them.
Is it convenient for them to be telling everyone they are that incompetent that they can’t hold on to a key piece of evidence?
When I first read about this, I understood that the assassin had destroyed the note, perhaps burned it or ripped it up, and that the FBI somehow put it back together or found the traces of ink on a burned note. Am I wrong?
Patel, speaking to Fox & Friends on Monday, said the FBI had “forensic evidence” of the note, but that it had “since been destroyed.”
I mean, what the hell is this even supposed to mean? The rest of the article is just heresy about “leftist ideology”. They quote the family as stating that he was leftist, but theres zero detail as to how. You’d think if the kid was truly leftist and we had “forensic evidence” of a note, we’d at least have a direct quote?
What evidence? How was the note destroyed? In what manner? Was any of it recoverable at all? What specific leftist ideologies did he subscribe to? What specifically did he not like about Kirk’s politics?
Given the progress of the investigation, and the current “evidence” presented, I am just not confident we will get answers to these questions.
The description is so vague, that a few ashes in the garbage and someone claiming they saw the note and it’s contents would fit it.
That must have been the note under the keyboard, maybe the boyfriend panicked and destroyed it, but then later told the FBI what was written. It was just badly communicated in the news.
Well if they had done that they could say they had done that. But the more likely hypothesis given who we’re dealing with here is that it’s bullshit and there was no letter.
In their defense, Charlie Kirk picked a bad time to be assassinated. It’s luau week the FBI, and things can get very messy and flamey at the office.
Even if the note ever existed, I doubt the FBI’s ability (or the current administration’s desire) to recognize the inherent underlying irony of many groyper tropes. I especially doubt the FBI’s competency after their “mistaking” a common ammo manufacturer’s mark as a leftist commentary.
a common ammo manufacturer’s mark
Wait wait, what? So did the alleged shooter actually carve anything into the casings, or was it just the factory markings that fox is trying to spin?
There’s a couple things.
The first reports, right after the shootings, were that the bullets were described with a pro-trans message. Except that turned out to be TRN, which is the maker’s mark for Turan ammo.
The second reports were that messages were written on the ammo. They haven’t released any photos but they say the “new” messages are
- “Notices bulges OwO what’s this?”
- “Hey fascist! Catch!” [with five arrows in a Helldivers launch bomb command]
- “Oh Bella ciao Bella ciao Bella ciao ciao ciao"
- “If you read this, you are gay lmao.”
The thing that strikes me is that all of those seem to be fairly lengthy messages to engrave onto a bullet. And the messages are more viral meme remnants of the terminally online.
Judge: “Mr. Patel, what is your evidence that the accused committed this crime?”
Kash Patel: “Your Honor, it came to me in a dream.”
Judge: “Good enough for me. Guilty!”
Ah, the Joseph Smith defense.
hes going to vahalla.
take him out on like a date or something
Either he’s lying or someone is committing the crime destruction of evidence.

concepts of evidence
How long before they walk this one back?
