Never heard of this guy until he hosted SNL. He was great and has a very good sense of humour. I liked him. Then, very recently, he showed up in Happy Gilmore 2 and again, he was great! I don’t listen to new music anymore so I can’t comment on that (I’m old and ignorant).

I’m 47 I’m always looking for new music I think why most people stop searching for new music is because music and memories are strongly associated with one another so if you have good memories of music you grew up with you tend not to seek out new stuff.

I’m always seeking out new punk bands or industrial metal or political metal that goes against the right wing. And I have an 11-year-old daughter so I get to hear some of the new pop and whatever else is coming out there are some gems if you look hard enough

I love music and have listened to it all my life. Mostly current popular stuff. Over time I found that the music industry was becoming formulaic and no longer resonated with me. It seems it had lost it’s soul and was used more for marketing clothing lines or a “scent”. I still listen to new music, new for me anyway, but I find it in the past, before I was born. Lately I’ve been listening to Louis Prima non-stop. Man that guy had charisma, was funny, and he could sing and play that trumpet like nobody. I try to keep politics out of my music but there are great political songs as well. “Wanted Man” - Manhattan Transfer; “There is no Time” - Lou Reed, for example. I agree that there are always musical nuggets of gold to find in any generation, if you dig around a little. Reminds me of the Paul Simon line “Every generation throws a hero up the pop charts”. I have nothing against the new music, I just don’t pursue it anymore. All the best.

About to have a lot more soy in their diet now that they have $12 billion USD worth of soybeans that China isn’t going to purchase.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets dumped/allowed to rot in fields. A whole lot of dumbasses think soy will make them lose their manhood, so I don’t see too many on the right changing their diet to anything even having the appearance of being plant-based. I mock their goofy “soy boy” slur as I think it should be mocked…

No, please. Not another one of those Disney promo ideas of “omg look how the right hates it, so you should watch it!” garbage. Not only do I not like Bad Bunny, but I won’t watch the half time show, the Superbowl, or NFL in general.

And absolutely nothing of any value at all was lost, no tears were shed, and no one anywhere paid any real attention whatsoever. It’s as though nothing actually happened, whatever it might have been.

Maybe not anymore, a few polls have shown reduced support for Trump among Hispanics, probably because his goons assume they are illegal because they’re brown.

      We tried to warn them…

Try telling that to my half Mexican brother and his Mexican wife. If anything, their positive opinion of Trump has gone through the roof. They love seeing the “pisas” get deported.

They don’t seem to realize that they’re next once ICE runs out of easy targets.

I think it all depends on whether ICE has harassed them directly, or someone they know. Today’s Conservatives have no empathy at all, they only care about things that affect them personally.

It’s weird as hell that white people are constantly talking about nonwhites who support Trump. The only demographic which the majority votes Republican is “white people”. Talk to your white family and friends and convince them to vote for Democrats.

Shifting blame is part of the political game.

No democratic presidential nominee has won a majority of the white vote since Democrats supported the civil rights act in 1964. Not even Jimmy Carter after the Nixon debacle. He only won 45% of the white vote. How the majority of white people voted Republican even in those circumstances is mind boggling.

A majority of white people supported Trump for the past three elections and white liberals love to blame PoC, especially for the most recent election because they can’t put together a persuasive message to people in their own community. They’re constantly vying for PoC to swoop in and save them instead of putting in the work.

I hope Mr. Bunny has a great security team, because those fuckers are crazy and known to shoot people they fear.

Maybe they ought to listen to some Bad Bunny before they complain. My Spanish is terrible, but I still find his songs catchy.

I see Kendrick Lamar got the last helicopter out of Saigon.

It’s gonna be more shit like this going forward. I don’t know who in their right mind would agree to do a half-time show with the current state the country is in. It’s like performing for the fuhrer in 1939.

Lemme guess, it started on Fox News?

What are they distracting from now, still the Epstein files? Trump backtracking on Portland and considering that Fox might be wrong about it? The Church shooter being MAGA? The list is too long, they need to keep pumping out the distractions.

The need to to sensationalize everything needs to stop. The only place I’ve seen outrage is in headlines, which dropped at the same time of the announcement. There isn’t even time for genuine thought before they write the narrative.

The Fairness Doctrine needs to make a comeback.
