The blade on the guillotine goes up and down, up and down, up and down! The blade on the guillotine goes up and down, all the live long day.

I know they designed a great diagonal blade that made the blade go through in one go rather than the original designs that had to go a few times before they got through the neck.

I think they should use the original blade designs. It would make for a much better waiting game for those in line to go, they get to guess how many drops it will take before their turn. It’s not that I want to be cruel, I just want them to really think about the question “should I have paid them enough to live?”

It didn’t during the Red Scare either. They’re bringing back all the classic atrocities already, so…

Also, due process got thrown out the window long ago. Seems to me that it’s just a matter of time until the rest of the constitution is just a decoration.

Yes. During the rise of Hitler, Jewish newspapers stubbornly insisted not to worry, that he couldn’t do all the horrible things he said he was going to do because of “the constitution”. It turns out a piece of paper with words written on it doesn’t protect you from someone who doesn’t value it, no matter how much you might value it.

Just because something is illegal doesn’t mean it can’t happen. When laws are no longer enforced, they lose their value, and the old system collapses. If you don’t see any value in the new system, it’s time to do something about it.

All this copaganda has been super effective. Really started laying it on thick to justify the patriot act.

I think it gets into the back of people’s minds and they don’t react in their best interests in high stress situations.

Funny, for a bunch of “good old boys” who made like they couldn’t’ figure out how to say his name, they sure figured it out when they had to, didn’t they?

Also, this particular dipshit is running against “MAGA” Mayes Middleton in a primary runoff, with both calling the other insufficiently conservative. A pox upon both their houses.

you know if these fuckers existed prior to 1776 they’d want to “deport” the founding fathers. Hell if Jesus came back today they’d deport him too.

I’ve been saying it for a while. We can put them on their own little piece of land, reserved just for them, with it’s own laws and customs. Someplace out of the way - it doesn’t need to be nice or anything.

Then add we start fixing things we can finally compensate all the American people that have been fucked over the centuries - First Nations, African Americans, Japanese, Hispanics, everyone else poor…

Of all the unprecendented things happening these days, this is not one of them. This is standard issue, 100y-old Red Scare garbage. Liberalism scares tyrants, so they always try this strat, and it’s always bound to lose.

Ya know…it feels like the Dodgers are the west coast Yankees. Just in terms of raw athletic talent. Like they have a monopoly on good players. I mean, they even originated from NY.

But then you read that Dodgers told ICE to go fuck themselves, and then hosted a game raising charity money for local families torn apart by ICE, and I begin to have a LOT more leeway against them.

It’s really hard to hate the Dodgers when they are helping so many people.

I’ll still be a Guardians fan, but I’ll still tip my cap to you.

And as always, fuck the Yankees.

It’s real easy for “them” to label people who care about their neighbors as anti American socialists.

Wait’ll they get a load of me.

Dodgers win! (I won’t spoil our moment by expressing my admiration for the yanks)

Calling him a socialist is ridiculous. In the rest of the world we would call him slightly left of center.

He is not taking control over private property. Although I would be all for that tbh.
