Except this particular idea isn’t quite as crazy as her other ideas. It’s really gotten to the point that the Red States and the Blue States lack a common purpose or any reason to be united. A gentle split into two countries, one founded on the principles of The Enlightenment and another with the laws and mores of Bronze Age herders- e. g. JesusLand, makes sense to me. As long as the latter doesn’t have nuclear weapons.
